The ninth installment of the Fast and Furious franchise will hit theaters on July 2. After this, the protagonist’s family will only have two more adventures to look forward to Fast & Furious 10 and Fast & Furious 11. “I have a scene that is recurring [in my head], and has been for many years, about how I have always imagined the end of the end would be,“
Vin Diesel begins in Collider. “Justin [Lin] and I have talked a lot and we work to achieve it. Much of Fast and Furious 9 is getting ready for the end in two parts of the saga,” he adds.
The ninth film in the franchise is directed by Justin Lin. The tenth and eleventh installments of the saga will also be under his direction. Full throttle director Lin already has the behind-the-scenes experience, having directed several episodes of the saga, including Fast and Furious 5 and Fast and Furious 6.
Even though Fast and Furious 9 is about to close the saga, the fans can still enjoy the movie until that moment arrives and they see how everything comes together. Dominic Toretto will go on a new mission and face danger, but a very important character will also be introduced: his brother.
Fast and Furious: Vin Diesel already knows how the saga will end
At the beginning of the movie, it is shown that Dominic Toretto lives with his partner and son quietly. The calm doesn’t last long, however. With Cipher joining forces with the mysterious brother of the protagonist Jakob, everything changes when the villain from Fast and Furious 8 returns in Speed 8. I believe that a family divided by hatred is even more dangerous than one without communication.
Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Charlize Theron, and Helen Mirren are also reprised as Letty, Mia, Cpher, and Queenie, respectively. With regard to the new signings, John Cena has been given the job of playing Jakob Toretto. Don’t forget to watch the trailer.
