Marvel announces five new series for Disney +, X-Men ’97 is a ‘revival’ of 90s animated fiction. As announced by the streaming platform, its premiere is scheduled for 2023. As reported by The Wrap, the title will continue the story after the events that occurred at the end of the original fiction X-Men: The Animated Series .

Another of the animated series that Disney + will premiere is Spider-Man: Freshman Year, for which no release date has been confirmed. The fiction will follow Peter Parker in his different adventures until he becomes the Spider-Man of the MCU. Will Tom Holland voice the character?

As for the rest of the live-action titles, Agatha: House of Harkness is the confirmation of what was announced last October. Marvel announces five new series for Disney +, Variety reported that Marvel Studios was working on a Scarlet Witch and Vision spin-off about Agatha Harkness, the villain played by Kathryn Hahn. The aforementioned media described the series as a “dark comedy” and announced that Jac Schaeffer, the screenwriter of Scarlet Witch and Vision, will be the writer and executive producer of the project.

Another in the series is Echo. Disney + has not reported on the release date and has not given details about the cast. However, the character will appear first in Hawkeye, the fiction starring Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton and Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop that hits the streaming platform on November 24. Alaqua Cox is the actress in charge of giving life to Maya Lopez, a deaf heroine with muscular memory – just like Taskmaster in Black Widow .

As for Marvel Zombies -another animated title-, it is not entirely clear if the fiction will be set in the same reality as that presented in the episode ‘What if … there were zombies?’ (1×05) from the series What would happen if …? or if it will be a way to expand the concept of the undead in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
