Selena has had a difficult relationship with social media in the past, taking breaks from it over the years. In 2019, she revealed that she no longer had the app because negative comments on her posts had left her “down,” and she deleted Instagram from her phone and handed over control to a member of her team. Despite returning to Instagram after four years away and becoming the most followed woman, she has once again announced that she will be taking a break from social media.
